Ave Gunter

Ava Gunter has been studying and performing the violin since the age of two. Currently pursuing a dual degree in Music Performance and Economics at the University of Florida, Ava has already made significant strides in the music world. She served as concertmaster for the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony for two years, showcasing exceptional leadership and musical talent. 

Recognized with the mARTies Award and the Pathfinders Award for Music Performance, Ava also graduated as salutatorian with an Associate's degree. Her achievements include receiving the Youth Artist Scholarship from the Treasure Coast Symphony and a memorable side-by-side performance with renowned conductor Michael Tilson Thomas in the New World Symphony.


In addition to their performance accolades, Ava has been teaching violin since age 15 and has volunteered at Crystal Lake Elementary, a local elementary school, inspiring 3rd and 4th graders through music education. 


She continues to refine her craft under the guidance of Dr. Jana Lower from Juilliard and actively participates in the University of Florida Symphony Orchestra, furthering her commitment to both performance and education in the arts.
